Optimized NVMe NVMe NVMe VPS Servers.
First2Host specialist Linux NVMe VPS Servers are powered by customized hardware which provides huge increases in speeds without compromising on stability. As well as using the latest Intel CPUs and NVMe storage we overclock our CPUs to 4.5GHz which means they are faster at responding to requests but they also constantly run hot. Usually overclocking a CPU greatly reduces it's working life but to combat this we cool our CPUs with water. This allows them to run faster but at the same time, they are kept cooler than using a conventional fan and heat sink increasing the CPUs working life.
We also run our DDR-4 Memory faster than other hosts. We cool our Ram sticks with fans and we clock them to run at 2666MHz instead of the default 1666MHz. This means requests inside our customer's VPS servers are processed faster and when combined with our NVMe storage and overclocked CPUs we guarantee each NVMe VPS on the network will perform above and beyond customers expectations.
Which Virtualization Should You Use?
KVM and Virtuozzo both offer different benefits. Virtuozzo VPS Servers all use the same stock Kernel which cannot be changed. We manage and patch the Kernel for users and therefore this type of virtualization is better for beginners and intermediate users. Programs like CloudLinux cannot be run on Virtuozzo so we do not advise shared hosting servers use this product. KVM virtualization is what is known as a full virtualization product. You control your own Kernel, have dedicated resources and your server is encrypted in an LVM for better security. KVM is advised for advanced users or users who need more control over their server.
Virtuozzo is lightweight and easy to use for beginners. Using our Kernel and live patching. It's less secure than KVM because servers are not encrypted but are generally faster than KVM servers and ideal for most projects.
KVM offers more functionality over Virtuozzo with stock Kernels and .ISO support. KVM VPS Servers are encrypted inside a Linux LVM for total privacy. Ideal for shared hosting or security-critical projects.

Need support? Our support team can help you resolve any problems with the default operation of the service. We can install IP blocks and reroute IPs to different services. Our service is unmanaged so we can't help you with the software you deploy to your server unless it's a cPanel server and the license is purchased from First2Host.
To protect our customers against DDoS attacks we filter all traffic entering our network. If we detect bad traffic in the form of browsers with no headers, Internet of Things (IoT) devices or network banned IPs we route the connection away from the service. We can filter up to 200TB of data a minute.
Manage your NVMe VPS service using our client area controls or the offsite control panel. Change your service IP or reinstall your OS with ease. We supply an HTML5 console and a Java IPMI console for you to access your server over the internal network. This allows our users immediate access to any server that appears offline to correct issues.
Some users have many servers to setup. This can be a timely and repetitive experience. We provide a duplication service whereas we can package up a complete server and turn that into an Operating System template allowing you to reinstall new VPS servers with that template. Our duplication service costs £25 one time fee.
